About
This blog is going to document my entire TEFL experience. I’ve just decided to pursue TEFL (”Teaching English as a Foreign Language”) as a career, and beyond the basics of signing up, I haven’t done much. You can follow along as I go through the signup, applications, training, travel, and the whole adventure in Japan.
It sounds educational. It sounds fun. It sounds enlightening.
Here’s what’s coming:
Spring 2007: Paperwork, applications, passports, and preparatory stuff.
June-July 2007: TEFL Courses at my University. I’ll tell you what is involved in the training to get TEFL certified.
August 2007: A break after the training. I will be working with a group of Japanese visiting students for three weeks, showing them the American Experience.
September 2007 though March 2008: I go to Japan to teach English.
