I enjoyed the pictures a bunch. It is neat how they have managed to preserve the old and traditional structures alongside (and within?) a modern city. It must be a “tourist haven” since they have signs in English.

It’s a major tourist haven. I haven’t seen so many non-Asians since the USA. Most of them still didn’t speak English, so it was clear that this place attracts people from everywhere!
